Miller

Seeking a Special Home for Miller ❤️

This is one of the hardest posts I've ever had to write.

Miller (better known as Millie Man, MillMill, or Millie Bo Billie) is a 12-year-old Lab mix who is looking for a new home. He has been a beloved member of our family for many years and has brought us countless laughs, adventures, and memories.

Miller loves being with his people and will happily sleep right above your head at night if you'll let him. You can almost always find him perched on the very top of the couch (literally), keeping watch over the neighborhood and making sure you're protected from dangerous Amazon deliveries.

Millie Man loves walks at the Arboretum, digging for moles in the yard, and exploring every inch of the outdoors. If you throw a stick in the river, he'll chase it for about two seconds before deciding there are far more interesting things to investigate. He pretends to hate baths, but somehow always ends up standing there enjoying the warm water and attention.

As our family has grown and our young child has become more mobile and active, we've had to make the incredibly difficult decision that our home is no longer the best fit for Miller. This decision comes from a place of responsibility, heartbreak, and love for both Miller and our family.

Miller would do best in:
• An adult-only home (no children)
• A calm, predictable environment
• An experienced dog owner
• A home willing to give a senior dog the love, patience, and comfort he deserves

We want to be completely transparent so that Miller can be successful in his next home. We are happy to discuss his history, personality, and needs in more detail with serious inquiries.

Our goal is simply to find the right fit for our sweet Millie Bo Billie and give him the best possible quality of life for his senior years.

Please send me a message if you think you might be a good match for our boy or if you know someone who could be. Sharing is greatly appreciated. ❤️
