In search of bigger greener pastures and a job.
We adopted Merlin 4 1/2 years ago. He will be 6 years old this October. We are a busy family of 5 so with all of our nearby hiking trails, a large gated yard and lots of energy we thought an 80 lb Shepard mix was a great addition to the family. We love Merlin a lot but he is quite an escape artist despite daily hikes and walks, kids around the house and the big yard and secure gate. We feel that he would be much better suited with a bit more acreage and a job or more purpose than we can provide for him. He has a friendly, playful personality, got a long well with our kitty before she passed away and has no history of biting.
ps. He is also quite a barker in the car and in our yard as we have lots of road bike activity in our neighborhood.
