Cooper and Riley

I'm heartbroken to have to rehome my two bestest boys

Due to issues with my landlord's renters insurance, I am no longer able to keep my dogs. I have a one year old son and due to being laid off a few month ago, it is difficult to find housing I can afford for my family and dogs.

Cooper (Australian Retriever) and Riley (Husky German Sheppard) are both 8 years old and have been together since they were about 12 weeks old. They are sweet and loving and love to cuddle.

Riley is a gentle giant (80 lbs). He is sweet, loves butt scratches, eats well, and doesn't typically howel. He is independent at times and loves to lay around outside. He has mild energy. He loves to go on walks, but also love sunbathing. He likes space to move around and needs a yard. He knows basic commands and loves to give kisses! Riley doesn't need toys and usually isn't interested in them. He eats once a day at dinner and otherwise spends the day lounging around. Riley would thrive in an environment where he has a yard to run around in and there are no other pets. He is good with older children who respect his need to not always be touched. Riley is house trained, knows how to use a dog door, understands basic commands, and is leash trained but likes to lead. Riley is neutered and microchipped. He is up to date on his rabies vaccine. Riley has no special needs but was never well socialized with other dogs.

Cooper is a chunky butt (85 lbs). He is loving and likes to lounge and will be your shadow. He has mild energy and would thrive where he has a yard to roam around. He loves to go on walks and eats once a day at dinner. He loves to play fetch or tug-of-war with a rope. He knows basic commands and is good with child who will show he attention. Cooper is house trained, knows how to use a dog door, understands basic commands, and is leash trained. Cooper is neutered and microchipped. He is up to date on his rabies vaccine.
