Anyone interested in adopting a young dog?
We took in two sisters as six week old pups last year and they have been a joy, but now that they are reaching maturity they are developing nasty attitudes towards each other. After the first fight, we kept them separated and focused on individual training/attention, but they got out last night and got into it again and we’ve decided that we can’t handle this training with our already busy lives.
She has never had an issue with any other dog, and has been so sweet with our young daughters. She was raised with and older cat who put them in their place early, but I am unsure how they would do with a cat now. She has been an outside dog (with a heated dog house for the winter), but is young and smart and would learn to be house trained with some diligent training. She is very comfortable in a crate and chooses to rest in ours. She is spayed and up to date on shots, although I do not know where her paperwork is.
If you or someone you knows may be interested, please reach out. The stress of their recent relationship has been hard on our household and I’m not sure how much longer we can keep up the crate and rotate schedule. Thank you
