Giulia

Meet Giulia Giulia is 6 years old and one of the sweetest girls you’ll meet.

Giulia grew up with another family pet. They were best friends for years until they could no longer safely be together. After family circumstances changed, they ended up under the same roof again. Keeping them separated and splitting our time between them isn’t the life either deserves.

Giulia needs an adult-only, pet-free home where she can be the only child and happily free roam. She’s independent, easygoing, and pretty quiet. She may bark if a person or car approaches the home while her humans are inside, but she settles quickly. She loves walks, toys, zoomies, chasing her tail, shadows and reflections, and LOVES watching and reacting to TV. She deserves a stable forever home where she can be someone’s one and only pretty girl.
If you are interested please reach out and we will personally set up a meet and greet! Thank you.

Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?: Personal Problems
Details about rehoming reason (if needed): Giulia was originally adopted by my older sister and her husband. Later on they adopted another dog. Giulia and him got along amazing! They were best friends for years. One day, something changed. Our best guess is they reached social maturity and there was some sort of power struggle. After that, the dogs have had to live in a crate and rotate lifestyle. This was risky but, when done right, it worked. Eventually it was time for them to have kids and living this lifestyle was not safe for a pregnant woman nor a baby. Giulia went to a relative and the other pet went to myself and my boyfriend. About a week ago, this relative decided he could no longer take care of her and surrendered her to a euthanasia shelter. After finding out the news and having limited homing options, my boyfriend and I picked her up and took her home with us. Now both dogs are under the same roof yet again. Our home is not big enough to safely keep them apart. This is not her fault she’s in this situation, we just wanted to save her. The shelter she was in had a ticking timer on her head. We had to choose between our families safety, or her death. We couldn’t leave her there. She is an absolutely amazing dog. She is sweet, loving, loves watching TV and chasing her tail. With the right home: adult-only & pet-free, she would absolutely thrive as someone’s pet. We just want someone to give her a chance.
