Adeline is such a sweet, talkative girl who we got from the shelter when we already had 3 cats. We were told she was good with other cats and we adopted her with her sister, but she barely tolerates even her. We have to keep her separated from the rest of the household because of this. We’ve tried for a couple of years to get her acclimated to our other cats with the help of a cat behaviorist, but without success. It breaks my heart to rehome her because I love her so much but she deserves a better life than this. She loves people but is skittish at first and will need time and patience to open up to you. We adopted her at an estimated age of 11 so she’s likely 13 now but she has never had any health issues (apart from the occasional hairball) and she still gets zoomies and acts younger than her age. Although she’s not a lap cat as far as I can tell she always wants to lay near you and be around her people when she can. She’s so silly and funny once she opens up and shows her personality. She’s not a big fan of being picked up and she gets very upset if you try to trim her nails. She’s can be a bit of a drama queen!
