Sophie

Rottie with a Zest for Life

Sophie is a high energy friendly one year old pure bred Rottweiler who loves all things play and water. She’s a huge fan of the dog park, pools, lakes, and sprinklers. Her ideal home would be someone familiar with working breeds that can meet her high energy needs with exercise and mental stimulation like training.

She has grown up in a home with two children under 10, and a small breed dog. She’s had exposure to cats but isn’t the biggest fan, although does not hurt them. She would prefer a home with a dog her own size as she can get defensive when small dogs snap at her.

She walks relatively well on leash, but can be a little reactive to cars. She has never met a person she didn’t like and approaches people at the dog park for pets and butt scratches.

When she gets bored she will chew or dig, however she is crate trained and does sleep in her crate all night and can be in the crate when you leave the house. She takes food very gently, and has no food aggression, she is not yet spayed since she just turned one, but I do not have breeding rights so her new home would need to spay her.

$300 rehoming fee to insure serious, responsible owners.
