CA Shelter survivor and sweetest guy ever!
Archie (aka Tanny originally) was part of a dog hoarding case located in Downey CA where he was eventually surrendered and on the fast track to euthanasia due to being so scared in the shelter environment. The poor guy would hide under his bed and even tried to hide under his water bowl. He made his way to an adopter in Iowa where he arrived sick with canine COVID likely from either the shelter or the transport. His new adopter didnt want a sick dog and didnt want to pay for his treatment so she surrendered him after only 72 hours. The rescue was able to save him again and found a wonderful foster home where he is currently living in Nebraska and thriving. He’s is pure joy to be around, very goofy and a bit quirky. He is extremely gentle and playful with other dogs, he loves to run and is no way bone, food or toy aggressive. We have Video to prove that LOL. He is still working on being potty trained, we suspect he was never an inside dog so he’s had to learn what comfort is, love is and safety is. He is a love bug and will sink in to those he trusts with his full weight or even go between your legs and lean against you. His journey to this point has been filled with uncertainty and passing around...even though its saved his life he needs a forever home to finally feel rooted in and a home with patience to work with him through that journey. He’s the sweetest, most friendly guy with such soulful eyes. He’s very special and needs to be someone’s best friend.
