Jasper

Jasper is a young, loving, playful cat with a big personality and a lot of affection to give. He loves being part of the family and enjoys being near his people. He is social, curious, intelligent, and very engaged with what is happening around him. He especially loves interactive play, toys, tunnels, climbing, exploring, and getting one-on-one attention.

Jasper has a fun, energetic side and does best when he has opportunities to play and stay mentally stimulated. Once he has gotten his energy out, he also enjoys affection and spending time with his people.

Jasper would thrive in a home with someone who enjoys having an interactive, affectionate cat and has time to play with him and include him in everyday life. He would especially benefit from a home where he has plenty of enrichment, places to climb and explore, companionship, and a safe outdoor option.

He is a wonderful young cat with lots of personality, and our biggest priority is finding him a safe, loving home where his social and playful nature will be a great fit. We want his next home to be a permanent one where he can feel secure, loved, and truly part of the family.

What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?: Our biggest priority is finding Jasper a safe, loving, permanent home where he will be treated as part of the family. Because he is young, social, playful, and enjoys interaction, we would love a home where he will receive plenty of attention, playtime, enrichment, and companionship. An adopter who understands cats and is willing to be patient while he adjusts to a new environment would be ideal. We are looking for someone who is committed to his long-term care and will provide regular veterinary care, a safe environment, and lots of love. Most importantly, we want to feel confident that Jasper will be happy, secure, and well cared for for the rest of his life.
Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?: Jasper is very loved, and the decision to find him a new home has not been made lightly. We want his future family to know that we are committed to finding the right home for him, not simply the fastest one. He is a sweet, curious, playful young cat who loves attention and being involved with his people. We truly believe that in the right environment, with a family whose lifestyle is a good match for his personality and needs, Jasper can be a wonderful and loving companion. Our greatest hope is to find someone who will love him as much as we do and give him a happy, secure home for the rest of his life.
Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?: Other, Not in List
Details about rehoming reason (if needed): We are rehoming Jasper because, despite working closely with our veterinarian and making extensive changes to his environment and routine, we have realized that our home and lifestyle may not be the best fit for his individual needs. Jasper is a very social, active cat who needs a great deal of interaction, enrichment, and attention. We love him deeply and have put significant time and effort into trying to make things work, but we ultimately want to prioritize his long-term happiness and find him a home where his needs and personality are a better match.
