Bruce

Meet Bruce: Affectionate Boxer Mix Who Loves Walks & Cuddles

Bruce is a big-hearted, playful Boxer/American Bulldog mix looking for his next loving home.

Bruce is an estimated 7–8-year-old, neutered male who has been part of our family for five years. A DNA test showed that he is 75% Boxer and 25% American Bulldog. He is housetrained, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to bring a lot of love—and some goofy personality—to the right family.

Bruce is affectionate, enthusiastic, adventurous, athletic, curious, and very food-motivated. He loves his people and will happily play tug or fetch, go for walks, and then settle in with a soft blanket near the fire. Say the word “walk,” and he may jump and smile with excitement. After a bath, he is wonderfully velvety soft, and he takes pride in keeping himself clean.

He is good with children and other dogs, but he needs a cat-free home. Bruce would do best with people who have time for daily walks, play, affection, and plenty of cozy lounging afterward. He is a loyal, resilient, protective companion who truly wants to be included in family life.

Rehoming Bruce is an incredibly difficult decision brought on by a family crisis and a severe dog allergy in a close family member’s home. We love him very much and are committed to finding him a safe, stable, forever home with people who will cherish him. We will be thoughtful about finding the best match for Bruce.
