Momo is a beautiful long-haired tuxedo cat with a big personality and a very special bond with her person. She can be incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loving once she trusts you.
Momo is also an independent and temperamental cat. She can be unpredictable with people she doesn’t know well and has some behavioral challenges that require a patient, experienced owner who understands cats and is comfortable respecting their boundaries. She isn’t the type of cat who immediately warms up to everyone, but with the right person, she is capable of forming a very loving and meaningful bond.
We are making the difficult decision to rehome Momo because she has struggled to adjust to our young toddler. As our family has changed, we’ve realized that our home may no longer be the environment where Momo can feel her safest and happiest. We believe finding her a home that better suits her needs is in everyone’s best interest, including Momo.
We are looking for a loving, patient, experienced cat parent who is willing to take the time to understand Momo, work with her temperament, and give her a calm, stable environment where she can feel safe. Her new family will need to be comfortable with her behavioral quirks, give her space when she needs it, and allow her to build trust at her own pace.
This is not a decision we are taking lightly. We love Momo and want to find someone who will be committed to her for the long term and appreciate her for who she is — quirks and all.
Our biggest priority is finding the right home for Momo, not simply the next home. ❤️
