Mochi

Overall, Mochi will be a great dog for the right person. He is an extremely loving, loyal and energetic pet. He is smart, is eager to learn and do really anything active at all times. He will also be happy to chill out home, but he wants to GO.

He is in very good shape for a 9 yr old golden and has not had any serious injuries. He did have limes when he was a juvenile dog, around 1-2 years old. Owner can share many more details about the pros, of which there are many!

The cons. He is food aggressive. He has bitten a few people for food-related protection reasons. I would not suggest Mochi to unkept, messy or people who regularly leave food out. I would also advise against households with small children. The owner can share many strategies to assist in this are is easily manageable, but it is an important consideration.

Also, he does not like animals on tv. He will have to leave the room.

He is not perfect but these issues are simply manageable for the right household. He is currently staying with a retirement-age couple and has been very good for them.

Other details:
Takes regular joint supplements.
Fed high quality food and small portions of unsalted green beans for weight control for the last couple of years as it impacts his joints.
Mochi LOVES to eat... a little too much.
He also Hates animals on TV! Beware!
