Sweet Senior Bibi Is Looking for a Loving Companion ❤️

Bibi is my best friend and has been part of my family for many years. She is a sweet senior girl with the biggest heart. She is a little chubby, very friendly, gentle, affectionate, and most of all she loves love. ❤️
She loves being around people and having company. She is very talkative and will happily “chat” with you throughout the day. She loves attention, being petted, relaxing near you, and simply knowing that her person is there.
Bibi is an indoor cat, but she also loves to check out the outside world for a few minutes during the day when it is safe and supervised. She enjoys getting a little fresh air, looking around, and then coming back inside. A safe porch, patio, enclosed yard, or someone willing to supervise her for those little outdoor moments would make her very happy.
She is clean, uses her litter box, is not destructive, and is easy to care for. What she really needs is companionship and affection.
This is an extremely difficult decision because Bibi is my best friend and I love her very much. Our family circumstances have changed, including serious allergies in our household, and I want to find her a home where she can receive all the attention and companionship she deserves during her senior years.
I am not looking to simply give Bibi away. I want to find the right person for her — someone kind, responsible and loving who truly wants her as part of their family. I would like to personally speak with and get to know any potential adopter before making a decision.
I am also willing to continue helping with Bibi’s her favorite and only food, and possibly pay for her insurance. I just want my best friend to be safe, loved, spoiled and never feel alone. ❤️

What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?: A loving, calm and stable home with someone who truly wants Bibi as a companion and will treat her like family. Because Bibi is elderly, I would prefer a quieter home without very young children. She loves attention and being around people, so someone who is home often would be wonderful. Most importantly, I want to personally meet and feel comfortable with her new family, and I would like an adopter who is comfortable allowing me to stay in touch, receive updates and pictures, and occasionally visit Bibi. She is my best friend, so knowing that she is happy, safe and loved is extremely important to me. ❤️

Is there anything else you'd like your pet's new family to know?: Bibi means the world to me. This is not a situation where I want to give her away and never see her again. I am looking for someone special who understands how loved she is and is comfortable with me remaining a small part of her life. I would love to occasionally visit her and receive pictures and updates. I am also willing to continue helping with her food, litter and other needs. I want her senior years to be peaceful, comfortable and full of love. ❤️

Why are you rehoming your pet (primary reason)?: Allergies in Family

Details about rehoming reason (if needed): Unfortunately, my family and I have significant cat allergies, and our circumstances no longer allow Bibi to be in our main living space with us. Because she is very social and loves being around people, I don't want her spending her senior years alone or separated from the family. She deserves someone who can be with her every day and give her all the love and attention she wants. This is an extremely difficult decision because she is my best friend and has been with me for many years. I am only doing this because I believe she deserves more companionship than I am currently able to give her. ❤️
