Ollie

I’ve had Ollie since he was 6 weeks old from my friend who had a litter of kittens. Ollie is 3 years old. He’s cuddly and goofy. Ollie has never lived with other animals, so we’re unsure if those interactions would go well. He’d do best with a calm adult household without young children, since fast movement and loud noise overwhelm him. He’s not a lap cat right away with new people, so his ideal home is someone patient enough to let him approach on his own terms rather than reaching for him first. Ollie is confident, curious, affectionate (once he trusts you), independent, and deeply loyal to his person. He’s the kind of cat who walks up to sniff a stranger on his own initiative, but wants contact on his own schedule. Rushed handling gets a warning swat, never anything worse. Give him two or three quiet days to warm up and he’ll soon give headbutts, sleep in your bed, and follow you room to room.
