Hi I’m Honey Bear. My favorite thing in life is belly rubs and snuggles. I’m house and crate trained, and my house manners are impeccable. I walk well on a leash (okay, a squirrel can be distracting), and I know how to sit. I’ve never met a stranger and love pats from everyone - young and old. I’m possessive about food (resource guarding) and frankly, I don’t like other dogs. Cats are okay, but it depends on the cat! You can find me with my head popped out of the car window and my tongue hanging out anticipating that next wonderful hike. As a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retreiver mix, I need more exercise and attention than my owners can provide, and I would do better in a home without other animals.

When our cat hissed and batted at her, I tried to intervene, and she turned on me. We were told she had resource guarding for food when we got her. When I tried to take away a chew when we first got her, she turned on me.
