Fletcher

Fletcher is a sturdy, athletic little terrier with a personality to match. He turned 2 on September 1 and he lives at full volume: sprinting, playing, and digging with the kind of focus most dogs save for dinner. He adores his doodle cousin and lights up for a good chase. Then, when the running is done, he is all snuggle, stretched out on the sofa with his people or curled up in bed with them at night. He came home as a puppy and has been through puppy classes and two rounds of board-and-train, so he is a smart boy who has been given every advantage.

He is looking for a family who speaks terrier. Fletcher is a watchful guy who likes to know who is coming and going, so he does best with adults who read his signals and give him a moment to warm up to new dogs and new people. He likes his sleep undisturbed, the way a lot of terriers do. He is fast, curious, and always up for an exit, so a securely fenced yard is his happy place. With room to run, a family who finds his opinions delightful, and someone to come home to at the end of the day, Fletcher is a joyful, funny, affectionate companion.
