High-Energy, Smart & Loving Girl Seeks Active Home + Dog Buddy

Millie is a beautiful 9-month-old medium-sized pup. We recently did her DNA and she is a true "super-mutt" built for fun: 34% English Springer Spaniel, 25% German Shepherd, 16% Siberian Husky, 4% Australian Cattle Dog, and 3% Great Pyrenees. Millie is fully spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, house-trained (she even rings a bell to go outside!), and completely crate-trained. She loves her crate so much that she leaves the door open and goes in voluntarily for naps and toy time.

Her Personality:

The Couch-Cuddler: When she is done playing, Millie is a massive sweetheart. Her absolute favorite way to wind down is to curl up right next to you on the couch for some serious love and affection.

The Toy Queen: She will literally empty her entire toy box every single day. Millie absolutely loves chew toys, squeakers, and is a master at playing fetch.

Smart & Eager to Please: She already knows "sit", "lie down", and a stellar "high five!"

A Dog's Dog: She absolutely loves other dogs and thrives when she has a canine companion to roughhouse and burn energy with.

Ideal Home & Training Needs:

Because of her working-breed heritage, Millie is very high-energy and needs a job to do. If left alone outside without another dog, she can get destructive out of boredom (she loves to dig holes). She needs a home with another playful dog and no cats (she loves a good chase!).

Millie was enrolled in doggy daycare and basic training, but a string of bad luck with puppy illnesses (parasites and pneumonia) kept her out of daycare and socialization for 2.5 months right during a critical growth phase. When she returned, she developed some "FOMO" (Fear of Missing Out) and mouthiness when handlers tried to put her away for rest periods. Daycare staff confirmed she is not aggressive - she just gets frustrated and nips out of excitement/protest when she thinks she is missing the fun. She also like to mouth during play. Her ideal owner will be someone patient who can continue her positive-reinforcement training (she'll do anything for a treat), set sold boundaries, and help Millie learn that resting is okay!
