Hi! Stan is a 12 year old border collie/aussie mix.
He is a retired sheepdog who really wants to be close by and enjoy treats. He enjoys walks and is getting around great, though some hip displasia is showing. Sometimes he needs an extra try on uncarpeted stairs or into the car.
He has an active mind and always wants to a part of what is going on. He’s sweet as heck. People are drawn to him and he loves all of the petting.
He has adjusted to our young cats and they are buddies too. Sometimes he’ll let a another dog that’s being ‘too frisky’ know that he doesn’t want to be bothered with a stern bark. Nothing more. He’s sweet and lovable, our home just feels too small for him.
