We adopted Rebel about 3 years ago and she is amazing. Smart, pretty, playful, cuddly... All the amazing things we would want from her. However, when people visit the home she can become protective of her house. She does not like when men come to the home and I'm not outside or if I'm not with her. She warns them plenty but sometimes, they don't know to listen. She has bitten 3x in the last 3 years-all strangers who advance on the home despite her protective behaviors. All the same situation.
We have a home that welcomes everyone so this is quite the issue.
She needs a home with a fenced yard and someone to work with her on her door aggression. She is trainable but we don't have the right set up.
