Nadia is a 6-year-old German Shepherd mix who has been with a loving family since birth. She received obedience training since she was 6 months old that varied from private to group classes. She has been vaccinated since 4-months-old and has no major health issues. She is active, loving and gentle. She has no history of aggression and only expresses her worry with a gentle paw, a head rub and some kisses. Her floppy ears will make you smile every time you look at them. Her happiness will make you happy :) Nadia will become an essential part of your family and your story.
Like a rom-com, Nadia loves long walks and time at the dog beach. She desires love, kisses and hugs with a dash of dog food. She has been in daycare most of her life, so she is socialite with lots of friends. She likes riding the back seat with her head out the window requesting that her Uber driver go the scenic route. She also likes to take flights as long as you stamp her doggy passport and give her a kiss before the flight. Though her team has staged many a intervention, she is a sniffaholic so prepare to walk slow and swerve a little. She has the softest fur so the princess will let you rub and brush her hair 100x like Rapunzel. Like a cheesy Disney family, Nadia is the perfect addiction to add to your life, and she has a few Christmas cards to prove it! ❤
She has a Instagram worth of photos and videos that her publicists is happy to share. Request a autograph or a backstage meeting with Nadia today

Does your pet have any history of health issues or medical conditions that potential adopters should be aware of?:
She is allergic to chicken by-products that cause rashes and diarrhea therefore I keep her diet simple. Most of the time her food consists of dry and sometimes wet dog brands of salmon protein that likely includes rice, pumpkin and sweet potatoes. As long as the food has salmon as the protein, the food is simple and works for her diet. I also feed her baked or pan seared pumpkin and sweet potatoes as a treat for added gut help. She is allergic to chicken by product but not actual chicken so when she is sick, plain chicken and rice works fine. To keep her food interesting and make sure she isn't just eating salmon all of the time, I buy simple ingredient Beef and Lamb foods usually from the same brand to avoid stomach upset. I do this every other bag of food or I'll buy two smaller bags and mixed them to keep it fun.

Additional notes about your dog’s health history::
Nadia is allergic to chicken by-product. I like SimpiracaTrio as a heartworm flea and tick prevention. I usually give the chewable pill once a month crushed up in her food.
Has your dog ever shown any challenging behaviors, such as biting a person or another pet? If so, please share some context.:
Never!
How often does your dog require grooming (e.g., bathing, brushing, trimming)? :
brushing once a week, nail clipping every three months(due to constant walks which I hope will continue. I also do this myself but if you are not confident, please schedule with a professional) and bathing every month but can be every three months. I prefer every month because she has sensitive skin so keeping he clean prevents rashes. Also, she plays a lot outside and has gone to daycare for years so the once a month made sense her whole life but with change in activity, she can go three months without bathing.
Does your dog have a dental care routine (e.g., brushing, chews, professional cleanings)?:
yes, I brush her teeth with a physical toothbrush twice a week. I usually use a mix of dog tooth paste and coconut oil. I do give her dental chews but not for dental health, just to give her a treat and if it actually does anything, at least her breath will smell good and her teeth with be white.

How is your dog with cats?:
Best in a home without cats: Has reacted to cats and should live in a home without them.
What's the most endearing thing about your dog?:
Can't describe it but she is filled with love. She has this "look" and leans her whole body against you and suddenly youre in love. Cuddling in bed with her head against you and seeing her cute floppy ears will make you never want to get up.
What criteria are important to you when considering an adoptive family or home for your pet?:
Love and dedication. I would love for her to keep 3 walks a day, love and kisses. I tell her how much I love her often and I hope that she continues to feel and hear that. I go out of my way to ensure that she is walking around new smells by going to new neighborhoods and parks because I want her to have a good life. That makes me happy. I also make sure when I move that there is a nearby park or walkable neighborhood since she is a major part of my daily routine. She has traveled on road trips and airplanes. I always want her to be included in a family's or person's life plans that a new apartment, house, relationship, baby or job could never change because they understand the commitment and treat her as a extension of themselves like a life partner. Due to mental health issues, I can not care for her but want for her what I could've provided had I not been a victim to a crime that I could've never dreamed of that completely ruined my mental health. I can not longer think for a extended amount of time and I have not control over my body. I want her new family to give her the life that I would've given her. Please love her, give her the best life and ensure she spends her last days in love and light.
