Max loves:
Going on walks
Going fishing
Playing tug-of-war
Destroying his toys
Being around his people
He is very quirky sweet and loyal. We got him from a pound in Utah and they said he was about 3-5 years old. When we got him he was afraid to get on furniture and play with toys. - he could probably be retaught to get off furniture. He can also get mouthy when playing tug or when he becomes overly excited, and may nip in those moments. Sometimes when I try to teach him a new trick he gets excited a nips when treats are involved as well. Max also howls at emergency vehicles (it took him a couple years to really do it around us- he would stop if he noticed us looking at him.. and it's not a noice you would expect to come from him. He's very bashful about it)
He likes to have a spot in every room that is his- that spot will always be Max's spot - for example if you put a Christmas tree in Maxes spot he will try to lay in the tree. He will lay in his spot in the room for whatever room you are in and will follow you around your home laying down in his spot.
