LOOKING FOR A HOME WHERE SHE CAN FINALLY EXHALE

Sometimes, loving a dog means recognizing that the environment they're in just isn't the right fit for them. And sometimes, the kindest thing we can do is help them find a place where they can truly thrive. ❤️

This beautiful girl is a little over 2 years old and is a stunning mix of Husky, Great Pyrenees, German Shepherd, and Alaskan Malamute. Basically, she's a whole lot of dog wrapped up in one gorgeous, fluffy package!

She's a sweet, loving girl who forms strong bonds with her people. She's also got that classic Husky personality, which means she's not afraid to speak her mind! She's talkative, protective, and a smart girl who listens wonderfully off-leash. She's also kennel-trained and has so much potential.

However, this girl struggles with anxiety when there are a lot of people around. Her current home has five children, and while she's good with the kids she knows, the constant activity can be overwhelming for her. She's sensitive to the emotions of others, and nervousness around dogs can make her anxious, too. For that reason, we believe she'd be most successful in a home without children or with older, dog-savvy kids, ideally 10 and up.

She's been working with a trainer, and we believe she has the potential to make progress with continued patience, consistency, and training. She just needs a family with the time and ability to help her build confidence without overwhelming her.

HER IDEAL HOME:
An adult-only home or one with older children
No cats — she has chased cats and cannot be placed with them
If there are other dogs, she tends to do better with males; proper introductions are important
Someone willing to continue working with her anxiety and training
A family who appreciates a talkative, loyal, protective companion
A home where she can feel safe, secure, and not constantly overwhelmed

She's not spayed yet and is due for her annual rabies and Bordetella vaccinations.

This isn't a bad dog. This is a dog who needs the right environment to succeed. ❤️ She deserves a chance with someone who understands that anxiety doesn't define her and who is willing to help her become the confident companion we believe she can be.

If you think you could be the right match for this beautiful girl, please reach out! Let's find her the home where she can settle in, feel secure, and be loved for exactly who she is.
