❤️ Looking for a loving home for our sweet Buddah ❤️
This is a post I never imagined having to make, and one that absolutely breaks our hearts.
We are looking for a wonderful new home for our beloved cat, Buddah. He's 8 years old, neutered, and has been part of our family since he was just six weeks old. He's grown up alongside us, and the thought of saying goodbye to him is devastating.
We are preparing for a move and were originally told that Buddah would be welcome in our new home. Unfortunately, after we'd already made commitments based on that understanding, we were told he could no longer come. We've tried to find a way to make it work, but we're now in a position where we have to find him another home. We never would have planned to leave him behind, and if keeping him were an option, we would in a heartbeat.
A little about Buddah:
He's a sweet, affectionate, easygoing boy who loves cuddling on the couch and being near his people. He'll even come looking for you when he's ready for some love.
He has a playful side! He loves laser pointers, watching chipmunks through the window, chirping at birds, and occasionally getting a case of the zoomies.
He's lived with dogs and does wonderfully with them. Sometimes he'll even hide just to playfully pounce on the dog!
He's grown up around young children and generally does well with them, although he appreciates gentle handling and having his own space.
He's an indoor-only cat, litter box trained, and does great with our automatic litter box.
He can be shy around visitors initially, but he's a loving, relaxed companion once he's comfortable. He's independent enough to enjoy his quiet time but loves affection, too.
Buddah could be a wonderful companion for a single person, couple, or family. He's comfortable around dogs, but has never lived with other cats, so we're unsure how he'd do with them.
More than anything, we're hoping to find him a safe, loving home where he'll be treated like family for the rest of his life.
If you think you could give Buddah the home he deserves, please reach out and tell us a little about yourself. And if you're unable to adopt, we'd be so grateful if you'd share this post.
He's been our family for over eight years. We just want to make sure the next chapter of his life is filled with as much love as the first. ❤️
