Daisy is a sweet, pit mix puppy, going on 9 months old. She is fixed, crate-trained, and up to date on her vaccinations. She is a loving, playful girl. She's full of energy - I think jumping is her love language! :) She loves to be with her people, whether it's inside or outside.
Daisy's challenge is that she has trouble getting along with other animals. She's eager to chase cats. She also wants to be the dominant dog in the home and doesn't want to share my attention, so she starts fights, some of which have been serious.
Daisy was abandoned in our neighborhood and found her way into our yard at about 4 months old. As a result, she is pretty fearful of new things and new people. However, she does warm up after getting used to new people and a new environment -- not so much other dogs. She did very well with our dogsitter who takes only one dog at a time and who works from home.
We have tried to keep her and integrate her into our "pack", but with three other dogs (one elderly) and three cats in the home, it's not working out harmoniously.
I love Daisy a lot and I want to find her a home where she can be loved and successful. She's a good girl and deserves a happy life!
